An independent voice for wildland fire, since 1990

Established in 1990, the International Association of Wildland Fire is the professional membership association dedicated to uniting the global wildland fire community. We are uniquely positioned as an independent organization with a membership that includes experts in all aspects of wildland fire management.

Our independence and breadth of global membership expertise allows us to offer a neutral forum for the consideration of important wildland fire issues.
